KALA STAR Summer Camps
Age 8-12

Drop off at the Old Log House, 8505 Kala Vista Dr,  9:00am.

Pickup at the Old Log House, 8505 Kala Vista Dr,  3:00pm

Cost

Camp (Tues-Fri) $239.00 CAD

Daily includes:

  • Yog’ength (Strength + Yoga+ Breathing) to start every day!
  • Games to strengthen Math Skills.
  • Learn about the Fresh Drinking Water Source of Kalamalka Lake.
  • Cross-lateral movements to awaken brain activity.
  • Conncting with Nature.
  • Positive mindset skills and strategies.

**Possible daily activities, but not limited to**

  • Hiking our amazing Okanagan trails.
  • Visit to Kingfisher Interpretive Centre (Enderby, BC)Learn the amazing life cycle of the Keystone Species-chinook (kekasu)salmon
  • Paddle board the amazing Kalamalka Lake.
  • Beach and outdoor games.
  • Bike the awesome Okanagan Rail Trail.
  • Bike Skills and Tactics, road rules, trail expectations, and bike safety.

*Due to weather we will be giving day-before notice on the following day’s activities*

Bring your own lunch, water bottle, and healthy snack. 

Bring: Weather appropriate clothing, hat, good runners or hikers, towel and swimsuit, a well-fitting life jacket, a FUN attitude, a willingness to learn, and an appetite to experience our amazing Okanagan life style.

Mentoring, Tutoring, Leadership, Physical Activity, Positive Mindset

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 2pm-7pm (One hour time slots)

Cost: $40/hour

Where: 16506 Kalamalka Lake Road

Educational Services Provided: Mentoring, Tutoring, Leadership, Bullying, Physical Activity

Registration Requirements:

Upon contact, parents and learner must fill out a learning guide to bring to Kala Star’s free consultation and intake time.

Policy

Kala Star is not responsible for making up student missed learning sessions.

If Kala Star is unable to provide learning we will work with you to make sure we can accommodate and make up for lost session time.

Families must pay for Educational Service at the start of every month. Also, one month notice is required for cancellation of Educational Service.

Some notable dates Kala Star is unavailable to provide Educational Services. Sorry for any inconvenience:
