KALA STAR Summer Camps
Age 8-12

Dates: 

Monday, July 9 – Friday, July 13  

Monday, July 23 – Friday, July 27 

Monday, August 6 – Friday, August 10.

Kala Star is in it’s 5th year of providing amazing Okanagan experiences and life lesson Summer Camps! Don’t miss out on 2018, limited numbers available. 

Kala Star  5-day camp for all includes:

-Paddle boarding our valuable drinking water source, Kalamalka Lake,  

-Learning bike skills, tactics, and road safety before biking the picturesque Okanagan Rail Trail,

Brain Activation Strategies Everyday, 

-Yoga on the beach daily,

-Balance (both physically endured and cognitively woken up), 

-Health and Nutrition (grocery store visit), 

-Hiking to local hidden gems, a waterfall, and views!

Time: 9:00-3:00

Drop off and pick up: 8505 Kala Vista Drive (Log House, Coldstream) 

Cost: $249 includes paddle board and paddle.

Participants will please be needing a well-running bike, well-fitting bike helmet, and well-fitting life jacket. Also, weather appropriate clothing, hat, good runners or hikers, towel and swimsuit, a FUN attitude, a willingness to learn, and an appetite to experience our amazing Okanagan life style.

*Due to weather we will be giving day-before notice on the following day’s activities*

Children bring their own lunch, water bottle, and healthy snack.

‘Sunshine Girls’ is our community’s All-Girl multi-sport adventure/life skill building/‘get moving’ into summer camp! The multi-sport All-Girl adventure camp features: 

-Yoga on the beach daily, 

-Learning new skills and having fun paddle boarding our valuable drinking water source, Kalamalka Lake, with LADIES WORLD PADDLE BOARD CHAMPION LINA AUGAITIS! 

-DAILY DANCE with SARAH PODOLLAN, culminating with a parent dance show! 

Don’t miss this amazing opportunity with these impactful life-changing mentors for your daughter! Also, awesome learning around body image, humour vs. bullying, positive energy, and how to believe in and build your own inner sunshine.

Dates: Tuesday, July 3 – Friday, July 6 (ending with a Parent Dance Show)

Ages: 9-13

Time: 9:00-3:00

Cost: $299 includes daily paddle board and dance studio

Registration Requirements:

Upon contact, parents and learner must fill out a learning guide to bring to Kala Star’s free consultation and intake time.

Policy

Kala Star is not responsible for making up student missed learning sessions.

If Kala Star is unable to provide learning we will work with you to make sure we can accommodate and make up for lost session time.

Families must pay for Educational Service at the start of every month. Also, one month notice is required for cancellation of Educational Service.
